  • Dampen the stained area slightly and then rub it with liquid soda. Afterward, however, you must clean it with clear water.
  • Shaving foam can support you get rid of any stains. Let it work for ten minutes before rubbing the area with a clothes brush and then vacuuming it off.
  • Salt is a proven remedy for fresh stains, not only for red wine stains: it prevents them from eating more rooted into the fabric. Immediately afterward, remove everything with a damp cloth.
  • Blood, egg, and urine of pets are water-soluble. Here, rubbing with clear water is often enough. You can also use a mild shampoo as support.
  • If you have had a mishap with the candle, remove the wax by placing a bag of ice cubes on top. If the wax is hard, you can remove it without leaving any residue.
  • Silk and tapestry fabrics are particularly sensitive. Here you can carefully rub the upholstery with potato flour and then gently brush it out.
  • Stains on cotton and linen upholstery, on the other hand, can often be removed with a soft eraser. Or you can use a special dirt eraser, as you can get it in any drugstore.

Stains are no problem with covers made of microfibres. Unlike other fabrics, they are insensitive, water and dirt repellent and easy to clean.
